Without bridge the gap | Mark Cohen

Aggressive, inappropriate and radical, Mark Cohen's photographs have an intrusive method: “I'm not interested in explaining myself. I'm just using people on the street in the most transitory way”. His book Dark Knees is full of pictures taken in his native town in Pennsylvania during the last 40 years. These photographs are presented in diptychs that both produce engagement and rejection, unavoidably getting us immersed in a rare and uncomfortable universe.
