The lives of a desperate father who tries to give his terminally ill daughter the dress of the heroine of Magical Girl, Yukiko; a beautiful woman with mental illness, and an elementary school teacher with a murky past, cross in a network of lies and blackmail perfectlyl woven with mastery and darkness by Carlos Vermut.

In this neo-noir hypnotic tragedy, shot in a minimalist way with a sober and accurate script, we will find all kinds of references, from manga to copla. For instance, a disturbing sequence with folkloric glints, with Manolo Caracol's Fire Girl playing background.

Las vidas de un padre desesperado, que intenta regalarle a su hija enferma terminal el vestido de la heroína de Magical Girl, Yukiko, una bella mujer con serios problemas mentales y un profesor de primaria con un pasado turbio relacionado con ella, se cruzan en una red de mentiras y chantajes tejida con maestría y oscuridad.

En esta tragedia hipnótica neo noir, rodada de forma minimalista, con un guión sobrio y preciso, caben todo tipo de referencias, del manga a la copla, con una secuencia tan perturbadora como folclórica al respecto, con Niña de fuego de Manolo Caracol sonando de fondo.

Actuaciones sobresalientes, sexo, muerte, sangre, mentiras, pulsiones y misterios se encuentran en esta película solemne e imprescindible, imposible de olvidar.
