Marie Tooth - Patricia Aibar

Marie Tooth is the entity born from Patricia Aibar that gives life and signs all her work. It’s also the name of the syndrome, which she was diagnosed with as a teenager: a neuropathy that affects the nervous system and that she mentions in her paintings. Hers is a completely auto biographic and visceral work. Marie Tooth (33), artist and creative born in Barcelona, is a self-taught painter for 17 years, using techniques such as charcoal, ink, and especially in her latest work, water colors.

Marie Tooth, in collaboration with TMYD (@takemyyellowdres s), will launch her own jewelry collection in October and she will be part of a TEDx collective exhibition in November.

Marie Tooth es la entidad nacida de Patricia Aibar que da vida y firma a sus obras. También es el nombre del síndrome que le fue diagnosticado en la adolescencia: una neuropatía que afecta al sistema nervioso y de la que habla en sus pinturas. La suya es una obra completamente autobiográfica y visceral. Marie Tooth (32), artista y creativa nacida en Barcelona, pinta de forma autodidacta desde hace 17 años utilizando técnicas como el carbón, la tinta y, especialmente en sus últimos trabajos, la acuarela.

Marie Tooth, en colaboración con TMYD (@takemyyellowdress), lanzará su primera colección de joyas en el mes de octubre y formará parte de una exposición colectiva organizada por TEDx en noviembre.
